In her response to Ronda Rousey, Liv Morgan said that the former UFC champion will have to think outside the box to beat her at Extreme Rules.
Liv Morgan will contest for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules against Ronda Rousey. The two have been at odds since Morgan won the briefcase at Money In The Bank’s women’s ladder match and then went on to defeat Rousey later that evening to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. In an extremely contentious manner, Morgan successfully defended the title against Rousey at SummerSlam.
Since that time, Rousey has been suspended, then reinstated, and she is now determined to win the title again. Liv Morgan sits down with Rick Ucchino of Cageside Seats before the fight at Extreme Rules to talk about her rivalry with Ronda Rousey. The winner frankly stated that she will stop at nothing to win on October 8th. “There’s nothing that I won’t do. And I mean that so very genuinely. There’s absolutely nothing that I wouldn’t do. And there’s especially nothing that I wouldn’t do to keep this championship. Ronda’s gonna have to kill me. Like, I’ve said it before, but I just mean that so quite literally. You’re gonna have to get creative if you think anything’s gonna keep me down from keeping my championship,”
Morgan spoke candidly about her love of the wrestling industry and said that she would roll over burning thumbtacks to show her worth. “There’s a passion about it. You have to love something with your whole entire heart and soul. And I don’t know how else to show my love for wrestling than to like show you guys that I will do anything for this. I will put my body through anything just so you could understand how much this means to me and how much I love this. I don’t know how else to really explain it more than that. It’s like, for you to understand what this means to me, I will roll through thumb tacks, on fire,”
