When we get into a debate with our fellow football fanatics/ friends about who is the best football player in the world at the moment, almost every single football follower takes the name of Mohamed Salah. This goes a long way in proving the fact that one can possibly not get into a conversation about football without Salah coming up in the discussion.

Born on 15th June, 1992 in Nagrig, Egypt, Salah is undoubtedly one of the best football players the world has ever seen. Not only in the Premier League, Mohamed Salah is widely being regarded as the best player in the world at the moment. No offense to Messi and Ronaldo fans but those who actually watch and follow the game know what I am talking about. I mean look at the guy’s consistency. There is a reason why Salah is known as the Egyptian King and we all can see why he is known by that name can’t we?

Salah has been phenomenal so far in the 2021/22 season, having found the back of the net 16 times in a total of 20 Premier League appearances, along with 7 goals in 6 Champions League games for Liverpool. Most recently, he has guided Egypt to the final of the African Cup of Nations which will see the Pharaohs taking on Senegal in what will certainly be an exhilarating final.

Club and International debut

Al Mokawloon: The Egyptian right-winger joined the Al Mokawloon youth team when he was 14. On 3rd May, 2010, Salah made his senior team debut in the Egyptian Premier League when he came on as a substitute in what resulted in a 1-1 draw against El Mansoura.

International debutSalah represented Egypt by being a part of both, the U-20 and the U-23 team, playing for his country at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2012 Summer Olympics. But his senior debut with the Egypt national football team came on September 3rd, 2011 in what was a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Sierra Leone.
